24/25 GVHS Student Parking
Due to the planned construction at the former Pennington School (on Bethel Rd.) student parking for 2024-2025 will be limited to the Art Wing, Stadium, and Valley Point Church parking lots. Additionally, adjustments may be made throughout the school year to accommodate the construction.
In an effort to accommodate the decreased parking and the need for flexibility, students will be assigned a parking permit for 2024-2025 permitting them to park in any of the approved spots within the designated parking lots (Art Wing, Stadium and Valley Point Church). Students will NOT be assigned a specific parking spot or parking lot. We hope that this adjustment allows us to provide the most amount of parking for the students during the school year.
Application Dates: Now through August 9, 2024: GVHS Parking Application
To accommodate this change in the procedure students are to submit their parking application by August 9, 2024. Cost: $50
Seniors (Class of 2025): Apply by August 9th, if you apply after August 9th we cannot guarantee availability of parking permits for the school year. All Seniors that apply for parking by August 9th will receive an email by August 16th with instructions for picking up their parking permit.
Juniors (Class of 2026): Apply by August 9th. Your name will be placed in a lottery for the remaining parking permits. Juniors that apply by August 9th will receive an email by August 16 with their parking permit status. If you are allotted a parking permit, instructions for parking permit pick up will be included in this email.
Parking Permit Notification: As noted above students that apply for parking by the August 9 deadline will be notified via email of their parking permit status by August 16. The email will include instructions for permit pick up.
Parking Permit Pick Up: Please note permits MUST be picked up by September 6. Juniors MUST have their license(stamped permit) by September 6th to pick up their parking permit. Students that do not pick up their permit by September 6th will forfeit their parking permit for the 2024-2025 school year and the permit will be released to an individual on the waiting list.
