Our schools are similar to those around the country. Some factors that we have seen as challenges include: (a) the impact of COVID-19 continues to show in more students needing additional support with their academics, behaviors, and mental health; (b) the intrusion of polarized politics into school systems especially related to race, gender identity, sexuality, etc.; (c) ensuring the safety of our students and employees in an age that has seen an increasing number of school tragedies; (d) the appropriate use of technology; etc....etc...
